  Dr. Shmunes performed PRK on both eyes 4 weeks ago. I am excited about my new vision every day! I wore glasses for over 40 years, couldn't read the large eye-chart E, and now I have better than 20-20 vision. The discomfort was mild and I have none of the potential side-effects I was worried about: halos, glare, dry eyes, or light sensitivity. Dr. Shmunes, the staff, and the facility were all EXCELLENT.

  Dr. Shmunes and all of "The Eye Guys" at Atlantic Eye Institute are a highly competent caring and compassionate group of doctors. I don't usually write reviews but Dr. Shmunes helped me so much through my recent severe eye problems, that this is the least I can do. As a businesswoman, I pay attention not only to competency, diligence and expertise in one's field, but also attitude, friendliness and focus on customer service. Dr. Shmunes has it all! And the entire staff is also courteous and well trained in patient service. Drs. Shmunes, Lancaster, Duss and Simmons are all terrific.
